DE only gives you the 3 DLCs for Mafia3 for free. That's it. Doesn't matter which version of the game you play. The glitches and bugs and such are not fixable. It's how the game is unfortunately. DE Literally changes nothing other than giving players all dlcs, sorry for the issues your having but thats mafia 3.
It's worth it since you getting it for the pc you can tweak the game to your liking with mods. It is, assuming you have played the original before. Amazingly, the remake manages to reproduce the good aspects o the original, as well as the bad ones. Indeed, the gameplay is very rough and pretty basic.
